website name

I' m having a tough time finding a name for the website, so I thought maybe seeing what names people liked best might help me deside.
people may still post suggestions as they come up with them.
some name ideas have been removed because they were either not the best name ideas or they were already taken. some of the names may be removed from poll, if after looking them up, I find that they're not available.

I don't really like the ones with Lupas in their names. Even thoe it's the wolves scientific name, Lupas is also a disease. :/ Everyone seems to be leaning towards Moon-Wolves.com

Well, we can always replace lupas with lupus, which is also wolf.

Ok, I would edit the poll but for some reason it's erroring and not letting me unless I was to re-make the poll, which would erase the current votes.. So, so far the name with the most votes that's domain in available is Moon-Wolf.com

I'm leaning towards Moon-Wolf as well.

wolf-den.com and wolf-packs.com are both available..

wolf packs will get more hits on google then wolf den, so I would lean towards that. People will more likely type in "Wolf Packs" trying to find information about wolves than "wolf den."

Ok, after further thinking and research I think I have came up with an idea that might just work...

wolf-den.com is up for sale, so I'm not sure what the price of that domain would be.. wolf-pack.com is a resource for young men and wolfpacks.com is a doggy backpack site. So people would have a 1 in 3 shot of going to the right site the first time if we used wolf-packs.

Moon-wolves is available, and the only site close to it is moon-wolf.com, with is some kind of wolf forum.

So, I came up with an idea... I don't really think that moon-wolves makes since for the site, sure wolves howl at the moon, but that's about it. Unless... We do a series of "Moon Wolves" which are kind of like Howrses divines. What does everyone think?

I still like moon-wolves and think it's an awesome site name. It will make sense when we get the site up and running. Wolves and moons go together like peanut butter and jelly!

We can have awesome names for the wolf divines. Right off the bat I think of Alpha and Luna. I'm thinking maybe, I dunno, 4 main divine wolves to start with? I'm also thinking that maybe the first 10 people to join get one? And then maybe one person randomly a week that doesn't have one? To promote the site. What do you think?

Maybe Alpha and Luna (or whatever we call them) could be the main wolves of the site? Howrse has their 2 main horses. We could give them special markings and they could appear around the site. Kind of like our mascots. Anyone like these ideas or hate them? We can come up with better names if no one likes Alpha and Luna. Luna for the female because of the moon theme and Alpha because well... it's obvious.

As long as the one/s being given away every week were common ones, then there could be really rare ones that are super hard to come by.

Good idea.. what do you think they should look like?

I'm thinking...black and big, tough looking for Alpha and soft, delicate with some kind of moon markings for Luna. Like..night and day, black and white ect.
