Stats: Hunger- Moral-energy.

Features of the website:

Cave- A place were the packs stay

Packs- "groups" for members to seperate their wolves in.

games- a few games here or there.

Competitions- they can enter their wolves in Fights or send their wolf hunting.

A breeding system.

A for sale system.

Sounds good to me. Maybe we could also make it so they can adopt a stray wolf every month with random genetics/breed?

Which ones do you think we should start with? I'm leaning towards maybe the Tibetan Wolf, Baffin Island Wolf, and the N. Rocky Mountains Wolf.

Maybe we can have all of those kinds? And later on, add a couple more breeds.

I think we should include the common Grey wolf and the Timber wolf as they are the most well known and will bring in more hits for the site because people will be googling them more than the other breeds. Any of the breeds are fine though. Obviously the bigger wolves will have an advantage in fighting and the smaller wolves could be faster?

I added all the wolves to the list. That will make the website starting with 7 differant kinds of wolves.



Ok, so for regular items, I want to start out with atleast:

Food: Kibble and Raw meat

Bones



And I want to have special items that do special things, these items will be located in a differant store then the regular items (kind of like the Black Market on Howrse).

So we need to think of a few items, what they will do and what to call them.



Any ideas?

Bones:

Reg bone raises moral like 5 points and a golden bone could raise it 15.

Obviously kibble is the lower grade food and raw meat will raise the energy more.

Fighting items:

These will be kind of like howrse special items and will boost their skill set.

Armor : Adds skills to their fighting.

Spear: Adds skills to their fighting.

Battle Collar: Adds skills to their fighting.

Shadow Boots : Adds to their hunting skills

Sirius's Light : Sirius is called the Dog Star- could add to their hunting skills as it helps them navigate at night.

Canis Major's Helmet: Makes them immortal.

*I was thinking the hunting could bring them random items. The more hunting skills they have the better items they bring in. This was kind of how it was on a human game I played.

Also you could maybe group a pack of your wolves together and send them out on a hunting party, it combines their hunting skills and brings in better items, but it takes a few days.

Also we could have items that increase the litter size, makes the pups male or female, age faster, age slower, ect.

There are some ideas for now.

Also we can have some sort of Cape, a Dagger and some kind of iron claws...

To elaborate on Hillbillypets' fantastic idea about fighting items:
Each wolf, no items, full health/morale starts out with 10 fighting points and 10 defense points.
With each 20% health/morale they lose, they lose 1 FP and 1 DP.

Full Set:
+15 DP
Breastplate:
+5 DP
Helmet:
+3 DP
Greaves:
+2 DP
Shield:
+5 DP
-Shadow Boots-
+5 DP
-Battle Collar-
+2 FP
-Weapons-
Spear:

+3 FP

And there's more ideas I have but I don't want to hit y'all with it all at once.

I love the items ^^ <3 but one question, how are wolves going to fight with swords and spears? The spear that needs two HANDS to use....

Oh! and maybe an item that makes it so the wolf dose not need to eat? /dose not need to be fed?

That is a good question... I think they can just be used as examples of "hey! Buy me and get more power!"

Can you do another forum called 'Help' so that users may post their questions and other users/staff will be able to answer them.
Another one called 'Art' so people can share their art from Devian art e.c.t.
And another called 'Forum Games' so people can play mini forum games like: Have you ever, Hot or not, rate the signature above you e.c.t.

Will you be able to have more pets at once?

Will the sale system be basically swaping/trading/selling wolves to other players?

I thought I'd make another thread just for discussion about items. If that's not ok just let me know and delete/lock it. I'll make it tomorrow, unless I hear otherwise.

Question- are we going to have the animals age/health/food go down even when they don't sign in? I don't like those kind of games. Like on Howrse the animals only age when you go to their pages. I think it makes the game much more user friendly because you can play at will and not *have* to sign in every day. What do you all think? Of course it would be up to the coders of course.

I have an idea, because I know we are going to have special paid accounts to pay for everything and make the money to keep the site running. How about normal accounts are called Half Moon Accounts, and paid special accounts are Full Moon Accounts? Also we need to think of the bonus's for the special accounts because that is what will be bringing in the money. Maybe being allowed to buy special items at a lower cost? Have more pups with each breeding? Something to make it worth people spending real cash.

With the cash will it be english or american currency or both. Because I'm english and sometimes I really feel like buying currency on other games but its always in dollars. Also can you do a phone option where you can buy bones e.c.t. from your phone, so that if people register and they are younger they can buy through their phone instead of credit card.

Replying to what Hillbillypets said, I love the idea of full-moon and half moon accounts ^^ maybe have three levels and have a new moon? idk And the thing that always made me want to buy site memberships was like 'allowances' I played a cat sim where once you had a membership you got 10 treats a month. (treats were used sorta like passes on howrse) and everyone wanted to be a member just for that. But if you were not a member it meant you could not really 'play' the game at the same level as every one else. But most sites with pay2play vs free2ply members have that problem. And i don't really mind it, if you pay them you should have a right to be a little better, right?
